True that most readers will be hard for us to name two or three Portuguese cartoonists. Perhaps the scene of the cartoons is thriving in the neighboring country, but the truth is that there is news on the matter. However, one name comes to mind almost immediately and to which you have to tip your hat: Jose Carlos Fernandes. And not just because it's a great author, it is, but because it is one of those chosen are able to create a universe by itself worth the ride over and over again. Your Worst Banda World is a comic (well, several) that I never tire of return, a mixture of rat pack aesthetics of magical realism, jazz club, to Rockwell and Hopper ... and something else, perhaps arising from the combination of all these elements and I am unable to define.
